Naturally, I'm not going to give out any sensitive info (as if), but by the time you've read this you'll have an idea of just who created this site you've so graciously decided to visit (and for that I extend my thanx).
From time to time you'll see different pix of me here- I like to keep the site current. I'm not the type to go for a month without revising the info on his site.
As you already guessed from the homepage, my name's Bryan. If you want the stats, I'm 27 years old-born on June 3 (that makes me a Gemini for any of you who were curious). I stand 6'7 (really!!) but as you probably figured out from the pic, Schwarzenegger I ain't.
I currently reside in Winnipeg (for those of you who have no idea where that is, there will be a map here soon), but I'm originally from Sudbury,Ontario (or Nickel City,as it's well-known)- born and raised there, moved here August 11,1989. Oringially planned to keep going to Vancouver, but somehow wound up staying here. It's not a bad city- if you love a city where there's primarily two seasons- winter and construction- and the winters are the type where -20 looks good on some days. You haven't experienced winter until you've spent one in the Peg, my friend...
Some of my hobbies include conputers (especially the Internet- real no-brainer there,eh?), movies (I have an extensive video library that's constantly growing out of control),reading a good book (Stephen King, Dean Koontz and John Grisham are my faves- but I've also been known to read the occasional Mack Bolan or Able Team) and keeping my mind sharp with the odd game of chess or cards- I've become quite the cribbage player Join me for a game someday if you like. (My name there BTW is blowyourspeakers)
Right now I'm working in the field of media distribution. In other words, you know all that junk mail you get in your mailbox? Well, guys like me put it there. Not the most glamourous job in the world, but until I can manage to find something in my field (which happens to be in radio broadcasting).
My number one passion would have to be music-the genres of hard rock and heavy metal, if you really want to be precise about it. Yep, I'll admit it. I'm a full-blown metalhead. Have been since the early 80's. Remember Pyromania? That really got me rockin'. But it was Love At First Sting and the classic Master Of Puppets that did it for me. Taught me that musical talent can be allowed to flourish even at high volumes.Don't get me wrong, though. I'm not just a total metalhead. I also like a lot of other stuff, too. Rush,Stevie Ray Vaughan,Triumph..just to name a few. Lately I've really gotten into the European scene. There's some killer bands coming out of Europe these days. Helloween,HammerFall,Stratovarius..the list goes on. I've also begun to really get into the progressive metal scene- bands like Dream Theater and Royal Hunt (my special thanx to Matt for the Hunt tapes), but at the end of the day, there's nothing like coming home, turning on the stereo and crankin' up some good old-fashioned traditional heavy metal. A little Manowar, perhaps. Perhaps a trip back in time with a little Ride The Lightning or the aforementioned Puppets. The collection's pretty extensive- but don't take my word for it...take a look for yourself.
Well, that's about all for now. If you have ay questiuons (something I forgot to mention??) then feel free to e-mail me and ask away. Who knows? Maybe a bunch of people are wondering the same thing you are- if that's the case, I guess the answer will have to apppear in the site pretty quick, right? *lol*
Until then, my friend...feel free to explore the rest of the site and don't forget to put your name in the Book Of Heroes..
Until next time...
Your pal,
Bryan
