Social Connection isn't too bad. Sometimes you get some real morons on there who like to annoy everyone else in the room. Fortunately, they have a whisper feature and private rooms. I can usually be found in there under one of two names..Metalhead or Warpspeed.
If you've visited the essential links page, then you know all about FortuneCity. These guys have a cool chatroom that accomodates both HTML and Java chat. I tend to go in there from time to time under the name of PrimalFear. The front page at FC will help you get into the chatroom. Like S-C, you sometimes run into some real goofs. But they're easy to spot, and the administration usually acts pretty quickly to get the idiots out of there.
And,of course, I have to mention the ultimate chat feature..ICQ-the three sweetest letters to a Web-surfin' chat junkie who likes to chat, but doesn't want to spend all his valuable hours in a chatroom watching posts from complete morons. You have to download the ICQ browser, but it's worth it.
